ZIPLINE TOWER AT PICNIC GROVE TAGAYTAY CITY

Tagaytay City, is always a place to see when you want to experience a cold breeze of mountains and lakes during summer, another option for those who doesn't want to go beyond north for Baguio City. Since these city is located near Batangas, you can also have a different view of Taal Volcano at the area. Which is the second most active volcano here in the Philippines. Also known to its island in the middle of Taal Lake. Tagaytay is a town to beat on the south part of Manila. Housing the People's Park in the Sky occupying the grounds of unfinished presidential mansion. There's also the Picnic Grove, where you can enjoy the mild climate of Tagaytay and a perfect view of the Taal Volcano. Considering the development at the area, these city is not just a tourist spot but also an emerging city that houses major upgrades from commercial centers, Condominiums and other mix-used developments.

As the night falls, from Antipolo to Cubao, you can try riding MRT going to Pasay where you can find the bus terminals going to Cavite or Batangas. Or, you can also try the bus terminal of DLTB at Buendia- Gil Puyat where there are trips to Calatagan. In our case since, its midnight already, we already ride a grab car coz there were seven of us. Its a wise choice to take a grab and split the fare to seven of us, so it turns out to be more cheap than having several transfer from LRT/ MRT to bus or jeepneys. Also, DLTB terminal at Gil Puyat has the most late trip going to Batangas.

As we reach our destination by 10:00 pm, since this trip is an unplanned trip, we didn't have the chance to book a hotel or a bed and breakfast place for our stay. So we decided, to find place to eat our dinner first. There are many bars and restaurants at Tagaytay that were still open that time. We even tried at the famous Dreamland Cafe to grab some meal. Though, we didn't eat there because everyone of us wants a heavy meal that night, but we still manage to take photos :).

The cafe features many souvenirs and Dreamcatchers that comes from different sizes and different designs. They also have a den which is located inside the cafe at second floor, they serve your meal there at a surfing boards. They also offer you native pinoy games where you can play while eating and drinking like sungka, card games, chess, dama and many more. Also, there are percussion instruments there that are available for playing. The place is so nice they also serve nice food there. But we came up eating on other resto which offers karaoke at the basement and delicious foods. Well, the foods are very nice for a worth of 1,645 pesos serving seven persons.

As the night falls deeper we manage to have a house to stay for 1,200 for a night. Well good for us, since we just had it for a night. The place is just a one bedroom place with small kitchen area wifi, tv, aircon, t&b and a terrace to hang out and drink all night. The place was so convenient since, it is just a walk away to 7Eleven and located in from of the Picnic Grove. We spend our night there talking and drinking with a feel of Tagaytay's cold breeze in the middle of the night. That was an amazing experience for me and for all of us cause, we did have a time a very long night of talks and chitchats.

Morning comes, all having some mild hangovers but still manage to go out to find a nice restaurants that will serve a very good breakfast. Thankfully, we found this place where they serve crispy pata, tender bulalo and lumpiang shanghai. We also experience here Binalot, which is composed of a balisungsong (rice), adobo , egg, and binurong mangga wrap by banana leaf. Definitely a delicious and a must try one.

The place has its picturesque overlooking of the Taal Volcano. What a very nice view. After a rest and a few chitchat we went back to do see and visit the Picnic Grove and try some activities like riding a horse, ziplines and buy some souvenirs. We even tried their strawberry flavored taho.

Tagaytay is definitely a place worth a visit when you want to stroll around and see some iconic view of the famous parks at the area. The trip was too short but sweet and memorable since, I'm with my friends and had a chance to do some life talks with them. I'll surely revisit the place again and discover new places.
